Making Time for God

I had been doing pretty good, making time for God. Two different Bible study plans and going to church as well as some one-on-one time. But some things have come up as they do, and suddenly I'm days behind. How ironic that it occurred to me as I added the '3 things' page to the new web site.
Prioritize time with God. Hmmmm. Perhaps I didn't take that one to heart. I think back many years ago, someone asked me to rank the following in terms of importance in my life; God, Family, Job, Health, Money (Honestly, I don't remember the 5th thing, but Money will suffice). Back then, I thought, trick question, God is first. and Money (or whatever is last). Then it's down to the other 3. Family, Health, Job. That's what I thought then.
Through the years, I figured out, it really is a trick question. First, is God really first in your life? Or are you just saying that? Now, many years later, God is becoming a priority. But is it simply that I want to get in his graces before I die? Don't get me wrong, I have been a fervent believer since October 4, 1991. But, perhaps now, I look back and see the wrongs I have done and think, 'How could God forgive me?' I have lived by John 3:16 and in general, the Sermon on the Mount for most of my years.
Now I sit here writing this when I should be spending time with God. Maybe I haven't fully prioritized time with God.
So, I need to close this and go spend some time with God.
Peace be with you!
